RESEARCH
To increase the body of evidence and information regarding benefits and/or harm.
From our founders
The Cannabis for Better Health Foundation (C4BH) was the brainchild of two Tulane graduates. In an effort to expand professional expertise into a budding industry – we looked at health/medical communications/information from other industries (food and supplements) and replicated what has already been in place for decades. With two decades of translational science, communications, and medical journalism… knowing the regulatory limitations of food, supplements, and pharmaceuticals, C4BH is THE perfect vehicle to deliver impartial, science-based information to the public about all compounds found in cannabis and hemp plants. Since the organization is not selling any products, we can talk about real use whereas brands may not because of FTC and FDA restrictions.
Yes, we are funded by industry… no different than commodity or food boards, or professional associations. Our goal is to keep you informed, debunk misinformation, provide healthcare professionals with the knowledge they need to help their patients make informed decisions…and be a resource to the media, who find it challenging to connect with experts in a timely manner when working on stories. Plant-based medicine will grow as research continues to emerge. We intend to bring it to you. We also want to help the industry come together to entice best practices based upon GMP (good manufacturing practices) that we’ve all come to expect… and trust.
We are new. We are happy to receive feedback. We’d love it even more if you’d like to support our mission! We stand for science and responsible use of plant-based medicine.

High on life,
